Your child should spend no more than 50 minutes completing their homework each night.


We correct homework in the morning. I collect and check it into my grade book and then pass it back that same day. Homework is not graded and your child will have the letter P on their paper to indicate that it was for practice purposes and a HW for homework. Homework completion is part of the report card!!! If your child cannot complete something because they don't understand it and you cannot help them, please put a note on the paper, skip it and complete the rest. You may also email me to let me know that your child had a difficult time with the assignment.

If all homework is turned in for the week, your child will be able to play Homeworkopoly on Friday. There is a weekly Homework Club (Tuesdays from 4:00-4:30) and all children are invited to attend!
