Here are some
websites that should help you with your project!!

1. Only one
individual exhibit per student may be entered. Group projects are also
encouraged including family projects. A student may participate in both
one group project and one individual project. Class projects will not be
judged.
2. Exhibitors
requiring electricity for their project must so state on their entry
forms. Electricity-dependent projects are on a first-come, first-serve
basis.
3. All exhibits
will be screened for safety and any exhibit that could possibly cause
harm or injury to exhibitors or visitors will be excluded.
4. Containers for
water or other fluids must be water-tight and, where necessary, ample
drip pans for condensation must be provided in the exhibit.
5. All tools and
equipment for setting-up of exhibits must be supplied by the students.
6. Televisions,
VCRs, and other electronics CANNOT be provided by the school.
7. All projects
in the "Judged" category are expected to include the Scientific Method
displayed on their presentation board. Some of the participants may be
asked to discuss their projects with the judges.
8. Projects will
be evaluated on Creative Ability, Scientific Thought, Skill and
Thoroughness, Clarity and Presentation, and Scientific Interview.

science fair project books, use the websites above! Think about what
interests you. What question(s) would you like to answer? |

Due date for
turning in your entry form. Committee members will review and return
your form with approval or a request for additional information. |

Projects are due
in the multi-purpose room. A committee member will check in your
project. |

Science fair
from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Share your project, see other projects, and
visit with student scientists.
Judging results
will be announced at 7:00 p.m. during the fair. Every entrant will
receive a participation ribbon. Top three winners are encouraged to
enter the regional science fair in Raleigh in February (date to be
announced).
All students
will preview projects during the school day. |
